India, Sept. 12 -- WESTERN RAILWAY has issued a tender notice titled "Pillow for Second and Third Ac Coaches" with the tender reference no.: 04253633C.
The tender details are as follows: Pillow for Second and Third AC coaches conforming to the specification as under:- Min. size 24 inch (61 cms) x 16 inch (40.6 cms) Min. height of pillow in centre: 6.7 inch (17cms). Filling material: Hollow siliconized polyester fibre of 7 Denier (min) or hollow siliconised conjugated polyester fibre of 7 Deni er (min), Min weight of filling material 550 gms. Total min weight of pillow 600 gms. Body fabric: Cloth plain weave polyster cotton (65-67: 35-33) White. In the specification, +/- 5% (tolerence) is applicable to weight as well as dimensions (size) , WR monogram, Name of Firm, month and year of manufacturing should be available printed on a flyer/tag/label stitched on either of the two diagonal corners of the cloth cover. Acceptable makes: Sleepwell-Adore/Bombay dyeing- Micro/Kurlopillow Sleepz/Nilkamal-Fern or similar. Specification for testing of fibre pillow: (i) IS:3416 with latest Revision/ Amendments.-is for Blend compositio n. (ii) IS 2500:2000 Part-1 with latest Revision/ Amendments.- is for sampling inspection.(iii)IS 667/1981 with latest Revision/ Amendments. - is for Hollow Fibr e (Microscopic Examination).
