India, Sept. 9 -- SOUTHERN RAILWAY has issued a tender notice titled "One Set ( 30 Kg Anti Carburizing Paste" with the tender reference no.: 07261094.
The tender details are as follows: One Set ( 30 Kg Anti Carburizing Paste (Thinner Base) to protect deep carburizing up to 1.5 to 2.0 mm Case depth (Carburizing Temperature 900-915 degree Centigrade)+ 10 liter Thinner for this to maintain fluidity and smooth application on the job surface) as per Drg.No. Not applicable spec n: 1.Anti carburizing Paste must protect the selected surface of steel items from carburizing (Case dep th 1.5 to 2.0 mm, at temperature 900-915 deg. Centigrade and soak time 10-12 Hrs.). 2. After Heat Tr eatment, Hardness on selected surface of item must be less than 30 HRC and Paste must be easily remo vable from the items surface (Shot blast and Rubbing by emery paper are not allowed [ Warranty Perio d: 30 Months after the date of delivery ] ]
