India, Dec. 13 -- CENTRAL RAILWAY has issued a tender notice titled "66 Kv (E) Grade Single Core 400 Sq.Mm Stranded Circular Copper Conductor Xlpe Cable" with the tender reference no.: 03255069A.
The tender details are as follows: 66 kV (E) grade, 1 Core x 400 sq.mm. stranded copper conductor, with extruded semic onducting compound for conductor screening, extruded XLPE insulation, extruded semiconducting co mpound for insulation screening, semiconducting water-swellable tape, corrugated aluminium sheath (seam welded) capable of carrying an earth fault current of 20 kA for 3 seconds, extruded HDPE type ST7 inner sheath, aluminium round wire armour capable of carrying an earth fault current of 20 kA fo r 3 seconds, extruded HDPE type ST7 outer sheath followed by graphite coating over the outer sheat h.
