India, Sept. 12 -- SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY has issued a tender notice titled "4 X 240 Sq. Mm, Xlpe Insulated, 1100 Volts Grade, Lt Cable." with the tender reference no.: IF255909.

The tender details are as follows: 4 x 240 sq. mm, XLPE Insulated, 1100 Volts Grade, LT Cable with improved fire perform ance category C2, Stranded Aluminum Conductor complying with Class 2 of IS 8130, Cores Laid up, In ner sheath of PVC applied by extrusion, Galvanised round steel wire or Galvanized steel formed wire ( strip) Armoured, Cores' identification by Coloured strip applied on the cores or by Colouring of XLPE In sulation, Outer Sheath of PVC Compound applied by extrusion conforming to the requirement of type ST2 as per IS 5831 and also meet the requirement of C2 Category tests under clause 15.1.1 and 15.2.1, Co nforming To IS: 7098 Part-1 with amendment no. 1,2,3,4,5 or latest and ISI Marked. (i) Type Test Certific ate Conforming to IS:7098 Part-1 from NABL Accredited lab has to be submitted along with the offer a nd along with the supply of material for similar type of cable having conductor cross-sectional area not less than the mentioned size in description. The type test must include the C2 Category tests under cl ause 15.1.1. (ii) Routine test Certificate has to be Submitted along with Supply of materials. (iii) Accep tance test as per IS:7098 Part-1 has to be conducted by Inspection Agency and Acceptance Test Repo rt has to be submitted along with supply of material. (iv) Firm shall submit Valid BIS License Certificate for the offered product conforming to IS 7098 (Part 1) along with the offer." [ Warranty Pe riod: 30 Months after the date of delivery ] ]
