This application has been filed by the applicant to direct the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Kotdwar, District Pauri Garhwal, to decide Case No. 16 of 2024, "Mithun Vedi Vs. Smt. Ujita Rawat", pending under Section 127 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, as expeditiously as possible.
Heard Mr. Mani Kumar, learned counsel for the applicant, and Mr. R.B. Kala, learned counsel for the respondent.
The said request of the applicant has not been opposed by the respondent.
The present application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is disposed of directing the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Kotdwar, District Pauri Garhwal, to expedite the proceedings of Case No. 16 of 2024 and to decide the same as per law and as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties.
