NAINITAL, India, March 26 -- Uttarakhand High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 25:
1. Mr. Harsh Vardhan Dhanik, learned counsel for the Applicant.
2. Mr. S.S. Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General assisted by Mr. Vikas Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the State.
3. Present bail application is moved by the applicant-Gagandeep @ Gagan Ratanpuriya, who is in judicial custody in connection with Case Crime No.478 of 2025 (FIR No.478 of 2025) dated 24.09.2025 under Section 109, 125, 190, 191(2), 191(3), 351(2), 352, 61 of BNS, P.S. Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar.
4. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
5. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that there is no recovery of firearm or any weapon from the applicant; applicant is not shown hurting anyone in the camera or in video recording of the incident. He further submits that applicant is languishing in jail since 06.10.2025.
6. Learned State counsel has opposed the bail application.
7. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the aforesaid case, the Applicant has made out a case for bail.
8. Accordingly, bail application is allowed. Let the Applicant-Gagandeep @ Gagan Ratanporiya be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond and two reliable sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned court.
