Union Minister of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, interacted openly with the girl students at the "Khelo India Samvad - Sports Talk with PM Modi" program organized in collaboration with My Bharat at Mata Sundari College for Women in Delhi. Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasized giving importance to the suggestions of the youth , focusing on mental health and nutrition services along with sports, and focusing on a drug-free India, and also administered an oath to the girl students to stay drug-free.

At the Delhi event, which was held under the chief patronage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan greeted the students and emphasized the need to increase participation in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a "Developed India" by engaging the nation's youth. The dialogue aligned with Prime Minister Modi's message, and the floor was kept completely open to allow each student time to express their views.

In his address, Mr. Chauhan described sports as a vital part of overall development and said that sports are as important as studies because they help develop discipline , self-confidence , tolerance, and personality. He said that necessary amendments and implementation of policies will be made after listening to the suggestions of the youth.

The students offered several suggestions , including mental health and sports psychology: offering regular psychology - weighted modules at Khelo India Centers and government sports academies covering stress management , meditation , motivation , performance pressure , dealing with failure, and emotional coaching ; a focus on rural and remote areas: better sports infrastructure , affordable/accessible equipment , trained coaches , awareness campaigns , career guidance, and ensuring equal opportunities. Suggesting solutions to financial and resource constraints, the students called for programs that would enable even economically disadvantaged students to learn their favorite sports-through grants , equipment rental , local training centers, etc. Addressing family and educational sensitization, the students suggested holding workshops to sensitize parents and teachers to further encourage young sports talent.

Mr. Chauhan listened carefully to all the suggestions presented and commended the students. He stated that those that were feasible would be forwarded to the relevant departments for further action. He assured special emphasis on mental health , nutrition, and the development of rural sports.

During the program, Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan administered the pledge of a drug-free India to the students and stated that healthy youth are the true strength of the country. He also stated that preparations for national and international competitions are ongoing, and providing better opportunities to athletes is a priority for the government.

The students who participated in the dialogue expressed their happiness at having a platform to speak directly with the minister and share their concerns and suggestions. Many students said that such dialogues have given them hope that their voices will reach policymakers and practical changes will be seen.
