Raisen/ Bhopal/ New Delhi, April 9, 2026 Union Minister of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the grand exhibition organized under the Unnat Krishi Mahotsav at Dussehra Maidan, Raisen on the evening of April 10. Shri Chouhan will also visit the various stalls and demonstration areas set up in the exhibition complex.
Display of latest agricultural technologies, equipment and solution models
Organized on the initiative of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the exhibition area of this national level agricultural fair will showcase the latest agricultural technologies, equipment and solution models by various national and state level institutions, leading companies and innovative agricultural start-ups. Union Minister Shivraj Singh will get information about these, after which he will visit the demonstration area, where modern agricultural equipment, micro irrigation systems, drone technology and other advanced agricultural models will be demonstrated live, so that farmer brothers and sisters can understand the technology by watching it live and can implement it in their farm conditions.
300 stalls in the multi-faceted exhibition
This exhibition, part of the three-day Unnat Krishi Mahotsav, organized by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare from April 11th to 13th, is the highlight of the entire event, with approximately 300 stalls set up. This multi-faceted exhibition will provide comprehensive solutions across the entire farming value chain, from inputs to processing and marketing, under one roof, enabling farmers to gain comprehensive information on all aspects of modern, profitable, and sustainable agriculture.
Innovations and successful models developed by leading agricultural institutions and companies will be showcased.
Active participation of leading institutions and companies related to agriculture, horticulture, micro irrigation, agricultural mechanization and cutting-edge technology, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, digital agriculture and crop insurance has been ensured in the exhibition. Besides this, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), State Agricultural Universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Food Processing, Rural Development, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and agricultural start-ups will also participate in the exhibition with innovations and successful models developed in their respective fields.
The venue is systematically developed into three large hangars.
The venue has been systematically developed into three large hangars to provide farmers with a clear and comfortable experience, subject-wise. Hangar-1 houses stalls related to the Agriculture Arena, farm machinery, irrigation, crop protection, soil nutrition, seed sector, and innovation and research. Hangar-2 houses stalls related to animal husbandry, dairy, soil nutrition, cooperatives, ICAR institutes, FPOs, and the Ministry of Rural Development, showcasing a comprehensive picture of agriculture and allied sectors under one roof. Hangar-3 has been designed for inaugurations, technical sessions, and cultural events. It will also host inspirational cultural performances, with adequate seating arrangements for a large number of farmers.
Arrangement for direct communication of farmers with scientists, experts and policy makers
Through the exhibition, farmers will be provided with information on modern agricultural equipment, improved seeds and fertilizers, organic and natural farming, dairy, poultry and fisheries, digital agricultural solutions, and various government schemes on a single platform. Additionally, arrangements have been made for direct interaction between farmers and scientists, experts, and policymakers, enabling them to receive practical and quick solutions tailored to their local conditions.
Exhibition an effective "one-stop platform" for farmers
This exhibition will serve as an effective "one-stop platform" for farmers, where they will be inspired to understand and adopt the latest technologies, successful models and market-oriented agricultural paths and will get practical guidance for sustainable increase in their income. This grand exhibition "From Seed to Market" organized in Raisen under the Unnat Krishi Mahotsav will prove to be an important step towards empowerment of farmers, prosperity and all-round development of agriculture.
