India, Dec. 4 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

On the third day of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0, the National Book Trust (NBT) organized special activities for children, filled with knowledge, creativity, and entertainment, at Namo Ghat. The active participation of over 600 students from various schools in Varanasi made the day extremely exciting and informative. The highlight of the program was an inspiring puppet show based on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, presented to commemorate his 150th birth anniversary. Presented by Creative Puppet Theatre Trust, Varanasi, the show was led by Mr. Mani Bhushan of NBT. Children from several schools, including Bal Vidyalaya (143 students), Dehradun School Varanasi (46 students), and Tridandi Dev Ved Pathshala (30 students), understood the Iron Man's struggle, dedication, and contribution to national unity through this presentation.

In this context, Team NCCL organized an exciting quiz competition on the theme "Varanasi - A Heritage City," which played a vital role in introducing children to the city's historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage. Students enthusiastically participated in various rounds and gained new knowledge about Kashi's rich heritage. Additionally, a special orientation session on "Reading and Publishing" was organized, introducing students to reading culture, the world of books, and publishing processes. This initiative aimed to inculcate a reading habit in children and inspire them to pursue literary creation.

The children's enthusiastic participation in all these activities and the teachers' support made the third day of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 a shining example of knowledge, cultural understanding, and creative expression. Varanasi students not only enjoyed themselves but also developed a deeper understanding of their traditions, history, and the contributions of their nation-builders.
