India, April 9 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
The Ministry of Coal , under the chairmanship of Shri G. Kishan Reddy , Minister of Coal and Mines , and co - chaired by Shri Satish Chandra Dubey , Minister of State for Coal and Mines , organized a two- day All India Official Language Conference on April 8th and 9th , 2026 , at Kaushal Bhawan , New Delhi . Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi , Member of Parliament , Rajya Sabha , attended the conference as a special guest . Addressing the conference , Shri G. Kishan Reddy , Minister of Coal and Mines , said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has enhanced the prestige of Hindi and the country by speaking in Hindi on national and international platforms , and we all need to learn from him . Shri Reddy also noted that along with Hindi , importance should also be given to our mother tongue . He further stated that the Ministry must work with commitment to the development of the official language , Hindi .
In his address , Minister of State for Coal and Mines , Shri Satish Chandra Dubey said that we will strive to make Hindi not only the official language , but also the language of the masses , the language of knowledge and the language of the future . He also informed about the work being done in the Ministry of Coal to promote the official language Hindi . Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi , present as a special guest , spoke in detail about the interrelationship of Indian languages and expressed his views on the origin and development of words . He also highlighted the importance and glory of Indian culture .
वार्षिक प्रारूप एवं टिप्पण-लेखन प्रोत्साहन योजना के विजेताओं को मंत्रीगणों के कर-कमलों से शील्ड प्रदान की गई। इस सम्मेलन में कोयला मंत्रालय के ध्येय गीत को प्रदर्शित किया गया। इसके अलावा पर्यावरण आधारित संगीतबद्ध नाट्य प्रस्तुति, भारतीय संस्कृति की झलक को दर्शाते हुए नृत्य प्रस्तुति, कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। इस सम्मेलन के दूसरे दिन श्री बालेंदु शर्मा दाधीच द्वारा 'हिंदी और तकनीकी दुनियां', श्री अनिल शर्मा जोशी द्वारा 'वैश्विक स्तर पर हिंदी की स्थिति और चुनौतियां' तथा श्री राजेश चेतन द्वारा 'संवाद की कला', विषय पर वक्तव्य दिये गए। इस सम्मेलन के समापन सत्र में कोयला मंत्रालय और अधीनस्थ कंपनियों के प्रतिभागियों द्वारा हिंदी के प्रचार-प्रसार के संबंध में अपने-अपने विचार रखे गए और काव्य प्रस्तुतियाँ दी गईं।
On this occasion , Additional Secretary , Joint Secretary , Economic Advisor , Director , Under Secretary , Section Officers and Chairman - cum - Managing Director of NLC , Director ( HR ) of Coal India Limited and all subsidiary companies , senior officers and employees of Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation and Coal Controller 's Office were present .
