AGARTALA, India, Feb. 24 -- Tripura High Court issued the following order/judgement on Jan. 22:

When the case is called, Mr. A.K. Deb, learned counsel appears on behalf of the applicant.

It is seen from the Registry's note dated 21.01.2026 that steps for substitute service of notice i.e. through newspaper publication has been taken by the applicant and proof of newspaper publication has also been placed on record. But, there is no representation on behalf of the respondents.

In view of the above, it may be deemed that the notice issued upon the respondents is served.

This is an application filed by the applicant for condoning delay of 71 days in preferring the connected appeal.

For the reasons stated in accompanying affidavit appended to this present application and after going through the averments made in the application, this Court is of the view that the averments made in the instant application are self-explanatory and thus, the same stand allowed and the same is accordingly disposed of.
