On the occasion of the fourth edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, a celebration of the ancient cultural and civilizational ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, Tamil guests performed the Aarti of Mother Ganga along with the Namami Gange group at Kedarghat on Monday. They sought blessings for the happiness and prosperity of India. During this, the Tamil guests who came to Kedarghat also helped in the cleanliness of Mother Ganga. Under the theme of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 "Learn Tamil - Tamil Karakalam", the devotees present at Kedarghat were introduced to the words of the Tamil language.
With the wish of a healthy India, Dwadash Jyotirlinga and Gangashtakam were recited collectively. Holding the national flag in their hands, everyone took a pledge for Ganga cleanliness and environmental protection. Namami Gange Kashi region coordinator and cleanliness brand ambassador of the Municipal Corporation, Rajesh Shukla said that both Kashi and Tamil Nadu are filled with Shiva. From Kashi to Tamil Nadu, the blessings of Vishweshwar and Rameshwar are equally present. Ram is everywhere, Mahadev is everywhere. Kashi and Tamil Nadu share a common cultural heritage.
