GANGTOK, India, Aug. 29 -- Sikkim High Court issued the following judgment/order on Aug. 13:

Rai, J. Heard Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on I.A. No.01 of 2025, which is an application filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963, seeking condonation of thirtyseven days' delay in filing the instant Appeal.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent has no objection to the Petition.

We have heard Learned Counsel for the parties and given due consideration to their submissions. We have perused the grounds put forth in the I.A. seeking condonation of delay. We are of the considered view that the delay has been sufficiently explained and also in view of the fact that the Learned Counsel for the Respondent has no objection to the Petition, the delay is accordingly condoned.

I.A. No.01 of 2025 disposed of accordingly. Register the Leave Petition.

Having heard Learned Counsel for the parties and given due consideration to the submissions put forth, we permit leave to appeal.
