The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) releases the Index of Services Production (ISP) for the month of May 2026 in respect of 19 sub-sectors, with base year 2024-25. Sub - Sector wise trends in ISPs in May, 2026 over May, 2025 are given below:
Top sub-sectors reporting strong growth in May, 2026 were Accommodation and Food (27.4%), Real Estate (17.7%), Retail Trade (13.3%), Banking (12.1%), Telecommunications (11.8%).
The month wise indices for the above sub-sectors from May 2025 are given in Annexure.
