Under the Khelo India Scheme, provision of setting up of 5 Khelo India Centres (KICs) per district has been notified in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir as per the general norms per district. This is a special measure for Jammu & Kashmir. As of now, there are 100 KICs notified in the UT.
Funds are allocated Scheme-wise, not State/UT-wise by this Ministry. Details of funds allocated and utilized under Khelo India Scheme and National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) during the last two years including in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir is given below:-
