PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON THE STATE OF BIHAR V/S LAMBOO SHARMA

PATNA, India, Feb. 25 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on Jan. 27:

1. The condemned prisoner Lamboo Sharma @ Munna Sharma @ Sachidanand Sharma in Death Reference No. 01 of 2024 and the appellants in the connected Criminal Appeals have appeared from different District Jails through virtual mode. The learned counsel from the panel of District Legal Services Authority sponsored by the Secretary of the D.L.S.A. are present with appellants.

2. Heard Mr. Pratik Mishra, learned Amicus Curiae and Mr. Ajay Kumar Thakur, learned counsel for the appellant in Cr. Appeal (DB) No.1210 of 2019 as also Ms. Shashi Bala Verma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. List these matters on 28.01.2026 at 2.15 PM. All the appellants along with the counsel sponsored by the Secretary of the D.L.S.A. shall remain present through virtual mode.
