PATNA, India, Nov. 24 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on Nov. 1:
Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner is a student, aggrieved with the action of the respondent authorities of the University in not issuing the marks for practical in its Statement of Marks and Grade, despite the fact he had appeared and participated in the practical examination. In support the aforesaid contention, a certificate duly issued by the Principal of the Ganeshdutt College, Begusarai to the effect that the petitioner participated in the practical examination, has also been placed on record as Annexure-P/3. Time and again the petitioner represented before the Examination Controller of the Lalit Narain Mithila University but to no avail.
3. Learned Advocate for the University seeks a short adjournment to get instruction and apprise this Court with regard to the present position.
4. Having considered the limited grievance of the petitioner, instead of keeping the matter pending, this Court deems it fit and proper to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 4 to look into the matter and do the needful in the light of materials brought on record, especially Annexure-P/3 to the writ petition, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed.
