PATNA, India, Oct. 31 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on Oct. 10:
Heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Limited.
2. The petitioners in the present writ application have prayed for the grant of following relief(s):-
"That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction commanding the respondents to grant the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with grade pay of Rs.4200 and consequential pay fixation in replacement in the scale of Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay Rs.4200 in P.B.2 which is being paid to the Data Entry Operators of Finance Department, Govt. of Bihar w.e.f. 1.1.2016 (in place of 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs.2400 which is being paid to the petitioners)."

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that for claiming the above relief the petitioners have already filed a representation dated 14.09.2023 (Annexure-P/12 Series) before the Managing Director, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Limited and the same continues to be pending. Learned Senior Counsel further submits that the petitioners will be satisfied if an appropriate direction is issued to the Managing Director, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Limited to dispose of the pending representation within a fixed time-frame after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.
4. To the aforesaid prayer being made by the petitioners, the learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 do not have any objection.
5. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners, this writ application is disposed of directing the Managing Director, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Limited to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioners dated 14.09.2023 (Annexure-P/12 Series) within six months from the date of production of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and by passing a reasoned and speaking order.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application is disposed of.
7. Pending I.A.(s), if any, stands disposed of.
