PATNA, India, Oct. 24 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on Sept. 25:

Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

2. The appellant and the respondent are also physically present in the Court.

3. Pursuant to our earlier order dated 07.03.2025, an affidavited joint compromise petition duly signed by the both parties has been filed wherein the parties have entered into mutual understanding and have decided to part ways on the following terms and conditions:-

"1. That in pursuance of the aforesaid compromise, the Appellant has paid and the respondent has received an amount of 11,00,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakhs only) in two installments.

2. That further the father of the appellant has filed a petition for withdrawal before the learned court below in Complaint Case No. 1016/12 (complainant in the said case) and the learned Court below vide its order dated 15.04.2025 was pleased to allow the application for withdrawal.

A photocopy of order dated 15.04.2025 is annexed herewith and marked as Annexure-1 to this application.

3. That the respondent has also filed an application on 05.05.2025 in Complaint Case No. 535 (c) 2012 pending in the court of SDJM, Danapur for withdrawal of the said case.
