PATNA, India, Sept. 3 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on Aug. 4:

Heard Mr. Binay Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Amit Bhushan, learned AC to GP 17 for the State.

2. Petitioner has inter alia prayed for following reliefs in the paragraphs No.1 of the writ petition:-

"(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondent authorities to permit him to join and discharge his duty at primary school, Shrawan Tola, Chandaur East, Saur Bazar, District, Saharsa.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction restraining the respondent authorities from interfering in his lawful service.

(iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to comply the order dated

28.01.2019 in Appeal No.1/19 passed by the learned District Appellate Authority, Saharsa by providing him opportunity of hearing and producing his certificates of qualification.

(iv) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent authorities to pay the arrears as well as current salary to the petitioner since the date he has been stopped from attaining the school and non-payment of his salary. (v) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for grant of any other relief or reliefs, which may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that the writ petition was filed during the pandemic period and as such the petitioner could not file his representation in compliance of the order dated 28.01.2019 passed by the District Appellate Authority, Saharsa in Appeal No. 1 of 2019 before the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Saharsha.
