PATNA, India, July 23 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on July 11:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

2. The present writ petition has been filed in the nature of writ of certiorari for quashing of the order dated 24.03.2017 contained in Memo No.652 passed and issued by the Civil Surgeon-Cum-Chief Medical Officer, Aurangabad and for direction not to disturb the petitioners from their work and further direct the respondents to pay arrears of salary of the petitioners which are due.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the counter affidavit, State has come with the stand that the letter which is impugned here i.e. order dated 24.03.2017 contained in Memo No.652 has been made ineffective vide order dated 24.04.2017 contained in Memo No.878 (annexed as Annexure-A/2 to the counter affidavit).

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioners have no grievance as the impugned order has already been withdrawn.

5. In the light of the submissions made, this writ petition is hereby dismissed as having become infructuous.
