PATNA, India, Oct. 3 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on Sept. 3:

The present contempt application has been preferred for initiation of contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for wilful disobedience of this Court's order dated 06.04.2022 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 5449 of 2020. Following is the observation made by the Coordinate Bench of this Court:-

"5. This Court, under the aforesaid circumstance, directs that in case an Appeal is filed against the aforesaid order by the petitioner within a period of 60 days, the Appellate Authority shall take up the Appeal and provide sufficient opportunity to the petitioner to explain his cause, whereafter the Appellate Authority shall pass a reasoned order within a further period of 60 days, which order shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith."

2. In pursuance to the observation made by the Coordinate Bench, a show-cause has been filed on behalf of O.P. No. 3 to 6, Para-8 of which reads as under:-

"That the District Magistrate, Siwan has dismissed the petitioner's supply appeal in the light of Clause 29 of Bihar PDS (Control) Order 2016 on finding that the trial in connection with FIR No. 327/18 is still under consideration before the competent Court."

3. Considering the aforesaid facts, the order of the Coordinate Bench of this Court has already been complied with. No further order is required to be passed in the present application.

4. Accordingly, the present contempt application stands disposed of.
