PATNA, India, July 1 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on June 27:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The present contempt petition has been filed for noncompliance of the order dated 20.01.2025 passed in CWJC No. 590 of 2025.
3. Learned counsel for the State has filed a show cause stating therein that as per direction of this Court, the District Magistrate, West Champaran (Respondent No. 3) has considered the representation of the petitioner and disposed of the same vide order dated 17.05.2025 (Annexure-C) after hearing the petitioner and other person by a speaking order in accordance with law.
4. Learned counsel for the State states that in view of the aforesaid, the order of this Court has been complied with.
5. The contempt petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner, if so advised, he may challenge the order dated 17.05.2025.
6. The contempt petition stands disposed of.
