PATNA, India, Aug. 4 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on July 15:

The present interlocutory application has been filed for correcting the name of the petitioner 'Madhu Kumari' as 'Madhu Kumari @ Madhu Devi' in place of 'Madhu Kumari'.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to a typographical error, the name 'Madhu Kumari' was mentioned instead of 'Madhu Kumari @ Madhu Devi'.

3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the prayer made in the interlocutory application.

4. In view of the submissions made, Interlocutory Application No. 01 of 2025 is allowed. Let the name of the petitioner in the writ petition be corrected as 'Madhu Kumari @ Madhu Devi'.

5. The Registry is directed to carry out necessary correction in the name of the petitioner in the writ petition as well as in the cause title.

Re: C.W.J.C. No. 10808 of 2016. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to implead Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission as respondent no. 6 in the present writ petition.

7. The Registry is directed to make necessary corrections in the array of parties accordingly.

8. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State, and learned counsel for the Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission.

9. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of the appointment of respondent no. 5 to the post of Vikash Mitra, and for a direction to appoint the petitioner to the said post in Hawidih South Panchayat, Block Baheri, District Darbhanga, after following due process of law.
