PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON INTEZAR ANJUM AND OTHERS V/S THE STATE OF BIHAR AND OTHERS

PATNA, India, July 1 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on June 27:

Order dated 13.12.2021 passed in CWJC No. 5898 of 2020 is complied on 12.05.2022.

2. Direction was only to pass a detailed and speaking order. Perusal of the order dated 12.05.2022, it is evident that a detailed speaking order has been passed and the same has been placed on record along with the show cause.

3. In the light of these facts and circumstances, the present contempt proceeding stands dropped, reserving liberty to assail the action of the respondents before appropriate forum, if the petitioners are still aggrieved.

4. With the above observation, the contempt petition stands dropped.
