India, Dec. 6 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
A special language training session organized under Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 provided Tamil education based on the FLN model to sanitary workers, students, and NCC cadets. Themed "Tamil Karkalam," the event aimed to familiarize participants with the basic concepts of the Tamil language and provide them with practical knowledge of words and conversations used in everyday life.
During the training, participants were taught greetings, numbers, body parts, simple sentence construction, everyday conversations, and basic Tamil script recognition. Using visual charts, interactive exercises, and simple vocabulary, consistent with the FLN model, the learning process was made more intuitive, engaging, and effective.
This session also featured specialized learning materials tailored to the needs of different groups. Sanitary workers were trained in Tamil vocabulary and conversational styles relevant to their work, enabling them to communicate effectively in their daily tasks. Students were taught the basic structure of the language through flashcards and conversation-based activities. NCC cadets practiced Tamil expressions related to command, parade, and teamwork, incorporating new linguistic skills into their disciplinary training.
Participants praised the initiative, noting that this effort by Kashi Tamil Sangamam not only simplifies and facilitates language learning but also strengthens the cultural and linguistic bridge between North and South India. This training embodies the spirit of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat," which unites diverse languages, cultures, and communities.
