CUTTACK, India, March 23 -- Orissa High Court issued the following order on Feb. 20:
1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).
2. Heard learned counsels appearing for the Parties.
3. Alleging non-compliance of order dated 18.03.2025 which was subsequently modified vide order dated 17.12.2025 the Petitioners have approached this Court by filing the present contempt application.
4. Learned counsel for the Petitioners at the outset contended that initially two weeks' time was allowed by this Court while disposing of the writ petition to dispose of the representation of the Petitioners. However, the same has not been disposed of as of now.
5. Learned counsel for the State sought for some more time and assured this Court that the order shall be complied in the meantime.
6. Consideration such submissions, the present contempt application is disposed of by granting two weeks' time as a last chance to implement the order dated 18.03.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.7490 of 2025, failing which, the ContemnorOpposite Party shall be asked to appear in person before this Court and to explain as to why a proceeding under the Contempt of Courts Act shall not be initiated against him for wilful and deliberate violation of this Court's order.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the contempt petition is disposed of.
