PATNA, India, March 4 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on Jan. 2:
1. Vide order, dated 17th of December, 2025, the Division Bench directed the office to send the original judgement passed by the Trial Court in G.R. No. 2319 of 2016 arising out of Sidhwaliya P.S. Case No. 59 of 2016. However, from the office notes, it is ascertained that the photo-stat copy of the Trial Court judgement was sent to the Trial Court for correction. If there is any defect in the Trial Court Judgement, the original judgement is required to be corrected and by sending the xerox copy, no purpose will be served.
2. Therefore, the concerned department is directed to send the original Trial Court judgment forthwith and must be within one week from the date of this order for necessary correction.
3. The Trial Court is directed to examine the judgement and rectify any mistake in the nature of clerical or arithmetical error.
4. However, it is noted that in view of Section 362 of the Cr.P.C., any observation made by the Trial Court or any finding cannot be altered by this office order.
5. A copy of this order also be sent to the Trial Court along with the original judgement.
