CUTTACK, India, May 11 -- Orissa High Court issued the following order on April 9:
1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. This I.A. has been filed by the Petitioner for extension of time to surrender.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that because of overwhelming circumstances, the Petitioner could not surrender within the time frame as stated.
4. Taking note of the same, it is directed that the time limit for surrender of the Petitioner as fixed in Paragraph-4 of the order dated 10.12.2025 is extended for a further period of four weeks hence.
5. Rest part of the order dated 10.12.2025 remains unaltered.
6. Learned Court in seisin is requested to act in terms of the earlier order dated 10.12.2025 Paragraph-4 thereof as modified and the order passed on this day.
7. Accordingly, the I.A. stands disposed of.
