CUTTACK, India, March 23 -- Orissa High Court issued the following order on Feb. 20:

1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Show cause affidavit has been filed by Opposite Party No.1 enclosing the copy of order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (C) Diary No.24427 of 2024, which has been dismissed vide order dated 9th September, 2024. In the meantime, almost one year five months has elapsed, but the order complained of has not yet been complied with. A plea is taken in the affidavit that Review Petition has been filed very recently, i.e., on 10th January, 2026. 2.1 It appears that defect pointed out by SR in the Review Petition has not been removed, as yet.

3. Mr. Nayak, learned AGA, however, submits that steps are being taken to move the Review Petition after removing the defect.

4. Thus, in order to provide another opportunity to the Opposite Party No.1 to comply with order dated 14th September, 2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) the matter stands adjourned to be listed on 13th March, 2026. It is made clear that subject to the orders to be passed in the Review Petition, the Contempt Petition shall be taken up on merit on the next date.
