This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode.
Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners. Perused the CMP application as well as the prayer made therein.
By filing the present application, the defendant in Civil Suit No. 2676 of 2022, pending in the Court of learned 2nd Addl. Civil Judge (Senior Division), Bhubaneswar has approached this Court for a direction to the learned trial Court to expedite the trial in the suit.
Learned counsel for the Petitioners at the outset contended that although the suit was filed in the year 2022, however, no substantial progress has been made in the meantime. In view of the aforesaid position, learned counsel for the Petitioners contended that a specific direction be given to the learned trial Court to expedite and conclude the trial of the suit in a time-bound manner.
