The Self-Help Entrepreneur-Livelihoods and Enterprise Application for Prosperity and Sustainability (SHE-LEAPS) has been operationalized and has the provision for monitoring the enterprises on boarded through SHE-LEAPS. The application was launched on 29th June, 2026 on the occasion of RashtriyaGraminVikasSammelan of Ministry of Rural Development. SHE-LEAPS application is developed under the LokOS digital platform for capturing enterprise-related information of Self Help Group (SHG) entrepreneurs under DAY-NRLM. The platform supports onboarding of enterprises and captures real-time enterprise data to facilitate management and monitoring of enterprises. It is being implemented across 34 States and UTs through the State Rural Livelihood Missions and in monitoring enterprises and support for planning and decision-making.

The State-wise details of SHG enterprises registered on the SHE-LEAPS digital platform are given at Annexure-I.

The SHE-LEAPS digital platform captures the details of enterprises promoted under DAY-NRLM. This platform has provision to maintain the information relating to annual turnover and enterprises continuity for all enterprises indicated in Annexure-I.

As reported by the Karnataka State Rural Livelihoods Mission (KSRLM), the details of SHG enterprises established through Community Investment Fund (CIF) assistance under DAY-NRLM in Karnataka during the last three years and the number of SHG enterprises are as follows:

The Ministry of Rural Development, under DAY-NRLM, has taken several measures to strengthen the sustainability and market competitiveness of Self Help Group (SHG) enterprises. The Ministry has registered the brands "Saras", "SarasAajeevika" and "Aajeevika" for promotion of SHG products. Twenty-five States have also created State-level brands, such as UMED (Maharashtra), Palash and Adiva (Jharkhand), Himira (Himachal Pradesh) and Mathi (Tamil Nadu) etc. to facilitate the sale of SHG products. SarasMelas are organised at the National, Regional, State and District levels to promote SHG products, including two National-level SarasMelas, one Food Festival and more than 50 State-level SarasMelas annually. A retail outlet, SarasAajeevika Gallery, operates in Central Delhi for the sale of curated SHG products, while States also operate retail outlets under their respective brands. In addition, the Ministry operates the eSaras e-commerce platform for the sale of curated SHG products and has entered into partnerships with GeM, ONDC, Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and JioMart to facilitate their wider market access.
