India, July 21 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

The "Meri Samiti Mera Patal" is an initiative which has been independently conceptualized and launched by Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM), Chandigarh under National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT). The objective of the "Meri Samiti - Mera Patal" is to empower and modernize Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) by addressing their training needs, improving governance, and enhancing visibility.

This initiative facilitates creation of digital profiling of PACS and centralized, transparent, real-time data system to support informed decision-making. The implementation covers the jurisdiction of RICM Chandigarh, covering Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Leh-Ladakh by RICM Chandigarh.

At present there is no such proposal to expand this portal across the country.
