SHILLONG, India, Feb. 26 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following judgment/order on Jan. 27:
It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned counsels appearing for the private respondents that during the pendency of this revision petition the parties have compromised the matter and decided to settle the criminal proceeding pending against the petitioner.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has made a prayer for allowing the petitioner to withdraw this revision petition with liberty to file an appropriate application.
Mr. R. Gurung, learned GA appearing for the State has no objection to the prayer.
In view of the above, this revision petition is dismissed on withdrawal with liberty as prayed for.
