SHILLONG, India, June 5 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following judgment/order on May 4:

It is submitted by Mr. A.H. Hazarika, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, that the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority is yet to prepare any report with regard to the status of the marriage between the petitioner and survivor, and hence, he prays for adjournment of the matter till such report is prepared and made available to the Court.

Prayer allowed.

List after 2 (two) weeks.

In the meantime, it would be open for the petitioner to implead the survivor as a party-respondent in the instant Criminal Petition.
