MEGHALAYA HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON THE RAIJ NAMDONG AND ORS. V/S THE JAINTIA HILLS AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT COUNCIL AND ORS.

SHILLONG, India, May 19 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following April 17:

1. Mr. G.Syngkrem, learned counsel for the petitioner today prays that he may be allowed to withdraw the instant writ petition, however, with liberty to file afresh, if so advised.

2. Mr. M.L.Nongpiur, learned counsel for the respondents No.1-4 and Mr. J.Shylla, learned counsel for the respondent No. 6 have no objections.

3. Accordingly, the matter stands closed and disposed of on withdrawal, however, with liberty as prayed.
