Today, Hindi fulfills the three responsibilities of official language, common language, and contact language. Writing and working in one's own language is extremely easy and simple. As the official language, Hindi draws energy from all Indian languages, ensures its development, and binds the entire country in a thread of unity and integrity. In this era of privatization, liberalization, and globalization, the importance of Hindi is only increasing with time. Therefore, the official language Hindi plays a vital role in making information technology, agricultural engineering, health, food, and consumer services accessible to the general public.
Committee Vice Chairman Mr. B.L. Verma stated that language serves as an emotional connect for ordinary citizens, and Hindi fulfills this responsibility well. He also assured that the suggestions made by the committee members would be fully implemented.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that steps would be taken to fulfil and comply with the various suggestions and directions given by the dignitaries present in the meeting to promote the progressive use of Hindi in all the functions of the Ministry in a more effective, simple and people-oriented manner.
