IMPHAL, India, April 9 -- Manipur High Court issued the following order on March 9:
Heard Mr. B. Nandita, learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner, who is a Revenue Officer, approached this Court by way of the writ petition under Section 482 of CrPC/528 of BNSS, 2023 for quashing FIR No. 59(3)2023 Lamphel P.S. u/s 420/409/34 IPC read with 466/468 IPC on the ground that the FIR was based on a certain order which was already reviewed.
Issue notice to the respondents in the main petition as well as the prayer for interim relief.
Mr. W. Niranjit, learned Dy. Government Advocate assisting Mr. Samarjit H., learned PP, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 4.
Petitioner is directed to take steps to respondent No. 5 by speed post within one week and file an affidavit of proof of service.
Learned Government Advocate prays for three weeks' time for filing counter affidavit.
