MANIPUR HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MANIPUR AND ANR. V/S SUCHITRA WANGKHEM AND 8 ORS.

IMPHAL, India, June 5 -- Manipur High Court issued the following order on May 4:

[1] Mr. Nongdamba, learned counsel for appellants makes an adjournment request citing difficulty for learned DSGI (Deputy Solicitor General of India) who is to argue the captioned matter on his behalf.

[2] Mr. M. Rustam, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1 to 8 is before this Court (Physical Court). There is no representation for respondent No. 9.

[3] Owing to adjournment request made by learned counsel for appellants which is not opposed and with the intention of giving an opportunity to respondent No. 9 and learned counsel for respondent No. 9, let this matter stand over to 16.06.2026.
