IMPHAL, India, March 25 -- Manipur High Court issued the following order on Feb. 23:
[1] Present Mr. N. Kumarjit, learned sr. counsel assisted by Mr. N. Zequeson, learned counsel, Mr. HS Paonam, learned sr. counsel assisted by Mr. S. Gunabanta, learned counsel on behalf of some of the petitioner, Mr. BP Sahu, learned sr. counsel assisted by Mr. Abishek Prasad Sahu, learned counsel on behalf of the Manipur University and Ms. Pamchui, learned counsel on behalf of the NMC.
[2] Mr. BP Sahu, learned sr. counsel for the MU submits that the university has filed counter affidavit in W.P. (C) No. 20 of 2026 and the same counter affidavit will be adopted in the remaining matter.
[3] Ms. Pamchui, learned counsel for the NMC submits that she is not filing any counter affidavit in these writ petitions and matter may be heard on the available records.
[4] Mr. Ch. Anthony, learned counsel for the respondent no. 3 (Shija Academy of Health Sciences) in W.P. (C) No. 20 of 2026, W.P. (C) No. 21 of 2026 & W.P. (C) No. 22 of 2026 submits that he has filed counter affidavit in W.P. (C) No. 20 of 2026 and will adopt the same in W.P. (C) No. 21 of 2026 & W.P. (C) No. 22 of 2026.
[5] Mr. N. Kumarjit, learned sr. counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not filing any rejoinder affidavit to the counter affidavit filed by respondent no. 3 and he also submits that he has filed rejoinder affidavit to the counter affidavit filed by Manipur University in W.P. (C) No. 20 of 2026 and the same may be treated as rejoinder affidavit in the remaining matter.
[6] Mr. HS Paonam, learned sr. counsel for the petitioner submits that he is also adopted the rejoinder affidavit filed by Mr. N. Kumarjit, learned sr. counsel for the co-petitioner.
[7] Heard Mr. N. Kumarjit, learned sr. counsel for the petitioner in part.
