MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON RAM PREM PATEL VS THE STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Sept. 28 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Aug. 28:

1. Learned Deputy Advocate General submits that though learned Single Judge has said that the representation of the appellant shall be considered after he joins the place of posting, however, in view of the present appeal, the competent authority is considering the representation. He submits that a decision on the representation is likely to be taken very shortly.

2. In view of the above, this appeal is disposed of directing the respondents to decide the representation of the appellant as expeditiously as possible.

3. In the meantime, the interim protection granted to the appellant on 29.07.2025 shall continue till the disposal of the representation.

4. It would be open to the appellant to take further recourse of law, if need so arises, after the disposal of the representation.
