JABALPUR, India, March 8 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 5:
The corpus has been produced by Shri Rahul Kutre Sub-Divisional Police Officer with Ms. Rashmi Jain, Sub-Inspector, Shri Dayaram Chakrawarti, Sub-Inspector and Ms. Sunita Chauhan, Lady Constable, P.S. Chanderi District-Tikamgarh in Court.
Learned Government Advocate has produced the police record. The police authorities have obtained the Class Xth Certificate as well as the scholar register of first school of the corpus, both of which record the date of birth of corpus as 05.09.2007. We also note that in the missing person report lodged by the petitioner on 09.11.2025, the age of the corpus is mentioned as 18 years and 2 months.
The corpus is present. She states that she has left her parental house and she does not wish to return her parental home. She further submits that she is not in any wrongful confinement or under any pressure from any person.
Since the corpus is major and states that she does not wish to return her parental home, no further orders are called for.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
