MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON GUNJAN KHARE AND OTHERS V/S THE STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Aug. 27 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on July 28:

Learned counsel for petitioners relies on the condition 8 of the gazette notification dated 28.07.2018.

Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the State submits that the gazette notification has undergone an amendment w.e.f. 27.12.2024. Copy of the gazette notification amending the original rules has been produced

Faced with the same, learned counsel for petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh petition, if need so arises.

In view of the above, petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
