MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON BAR ASSOCIATION HANUMANA DISTRICT REWA V/S THE BAR COUNCIL OF MADHYA PRADESH AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Oct. 25 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Sept. 25:

Petitioner had challenged the proceedings initiated by the Appeal Committee of the State Bar Council on the complaint by respondent no.3 to 8 in respect of the election of the Bar Association that was held on 10.01.2023. The election that was held on 10.01.2023 was for a term of two years. Since the term of election which was held in the year 2023 of two years have already been over. The petition is disposed of directing the Bar Association, Hanuman, District Rewa to declare and conduct the election within a period of two months from today in accordance with law.

With the above, petition is disposed of in the above terms.
