MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON TRILOKESH PRATAP SINGH AND OTHERS V/S UNION OF INDIA AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Feb. 19 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Jan. 16:

1. By this application, the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition.

2. An objection has been raised that the remedy of the petitioner is to take steps under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 and not to approach this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

3. In view of the objection raised with regard to the maintainability of the subject petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall be filing an application under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

5. All rights and contentions of the parties are reserved.
