JABALPUR, India, May 8 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on April 8:
The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:
i. That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing to take immediate steps to remove the illegal encroachment from the public street done by No. 6 to 7 who are apparently involved in the entire matter. ii. That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus against Respondent No. 2 and 5 under who failed to take action despite there being the complaint and information given by the petitioner about the illegal encroachment done by respondents 6&7. iii. Any other relief which the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper may also be granted, in the interest of justice.
2. The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the respondents may be directed to decide the representations which is Annex.P/5 dated 20/02/2025.
3. In view of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 20/02/2025 filed by the petitioner expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two weeks from today and the decision so taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
4. Needless to state that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order so passed by the respondent No.2, she may challenge the same before the appropriate forum.
5. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
