MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON RAJENDRA SAHU V/S THE STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Nov. 24 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Oct. 28:

Learned counsel for respondents/State raises a preliminary objection with regard to maintainability of writ appeal, in view of the fact that petitioner filed subject writ petition seeking direction pertaining to investigation in criminal case.

Faced with the objection, learned counsel for appellant seeks leave to withdraw the appeal reserving the right of appellant to initiate appropriate proceeding in accordance with law.

The appeal is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.

All rights and contentions of the parties are reserved.
