JABALPUR, India, Nov. 30 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Oct. 30:

1. Appellant impugns order dated 14.07.2025, whereby the learned Writ Court has upheld the order closing the right to file reply by the appellant in the departmental enquiry.

2. The impugned order records that appellant had moved repeated applications seeking time to file reply on the pretext that certain documents to enable the appellant to file reply have not been received. The Inquiry Officer as well as the learned Writ Court found that appellant had not stated the relevance of the documents which was sought to be procured by the appellant to file reply.

3. Learned counsel for appellant submits that as of now thedepartmental enquiry is progressing and appellant is even cross-examining witnesses and after the cross-examination, appellant has been provided certain documents however, complete documents are still not been provided. He however, seeks leave to withdraw the appeal reserving the right of the appellant to summon the documents at the stage of his defence.

4. In view of the above, appeal is disposed of with the liberty to appellant to seek production of records for the purposes of producing the same with the defence after showing relevance to the Inquiry Officer.

5. Appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
