MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON MAHENDRA MOHAN SHRIVASTAVA V/S THE STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Feb. 4 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Jan. 6:

1. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that appellant has not been paid salary since passing of the interim order dated 04.07.2025 till the date of joining the place of posting despite the fact that he was still working in the original office.

2. Learned Government Advocate for the State submits that since the Service Book of the appellant stands transferred after the transfer of the appellant, the salary shall be paid by the transferred office.

3. In view of the above statement, the appeal is disposed of with the direction to the transferred office to disburse the salary of the appellant.
