JABALPUR, India, Nov. 16 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Oct. 15:

The Corpus has been brought to the Court by Shri Ritesh Pandey - Inspector, Thana Gohalpur, District Jabalpur. He informed that the Corpus is bedridden and has been brought to Court in an ambulance. The Investigating Officer has verified the factum that the Corpus is present in the Court premises.

The son of the Corpus/respondent no.5 is present. Investigating Officer has recorded the statement of Corpus and she has stated that she has no dispute with her husband i.e. petitioner and is living with the younger son because he takes care of her.

Respondent no.5, son of the parties, is present in Court. He states that he has never objected to the petitioner visiting his house and meeting the Corpus. He submits that the petitioner sometimes fights with the Corpus and is unable to take care of her. He assures that he is taking care of her day to day needs and also her medical needs.

We are of the view that respondent/Corpus is not in any wrongful confinement and respondent no.5 has assured that he has no objection to the petitioner meeting the Corpus at any time as he wishes, provided he does not misbehave with the Corpus or the family members of respondent no.5.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of. The petitioner would be at liberty to visit the house of respondent no.5 to meet the Corpus at any time whenever he wishes.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
